We're halfway through the month, and it's been a busy one! We wanted to highlight the fact that March is many things, but it's also Women's History Month.
A time dedicated to celebrating the achievements and contributions of women throughout history. This annual observance highlights the vital role that women have played in shaping society, culture, and politics.
Why is Women's History Month important?

How did Women's History Month come about?
Women's History Month traces its roots back to the first International Women's Day in 1911. In 1980, President Jimmy Carter issued a presidential proclamation declaring the week of March 8 as National Women's History Week. This eventually evolved into the month-long celebration we know today.
What can you do to celebrate Women's History Month?
There are many ways to honor Women's History Month, such as attending events that celebrate women's achievements, supporting women-owned businesses, and educating yourself on the contributions of women throughout history.
